Christian Responsibility to Dalits - 2017

Fr Gerard Mitchell, SJ (parish priest, St Anselm’s Church, Southall), Bishop Pat Lynch and the Christian Network Against Caste Discrimination hosted a two-day conference on Christian Responsibility to Dalits at Amigo Hall adjacent to St George’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Southwark.

The conference aimed to deepen awareness of Christian commitment to ending racial discrimination. Cardinal Peter Turkson (Prefect of the Dicastery for promoting Integral Human Development) provided a keynote address.
