CNACD Synodality Series 2022

In 2021, Pope Francis invited the Catholic Community world-wide, to enter into a ‘synodal’ process of listening, reflection and discernment around the themes of ‘Participation, Communion and Mission’.

In response to this invitation, the Christian Network Against Caste Discrimination (CNACD) held two listening sessions via Zoom, on 29 January and 19 February 2022.  Each listening session, involving approximately 50 people from India and the UK, explored the themes stated, ‘through the specific lens of caste discrimination and inclusion’. Their responses were collated into a report in April 2022 which was shared with the Catholic Bishops in England, Wales, Scotland and India.
